One of the critical issues facing Zoroastrian community today is the dying population because they have refused to accept converts...As I understand there are two communities one in India (parsis) and one inside Iran...The Indian community is hardcore ..Iranian Community inside Iran is more open to accepting converts but I do not know if the decision has been made.

Mixing religion with politics has the drawback of destroying the religion if politics/economy go bad..This is what has happened in Iran...During Shah people in Iran had positive view of Islam..today as a result of corruption and mis-managment and outright dictatorship by religious authorities majority of Iranians have very very negative view of Islam and no longer consider themselves as muslim.

Last survey of Iranian opinion (Inside Iran) about religion (about 4 years ago I think) was an eye opener (survey done by GAMMAN group from Netherland and Iran). @LegionnairE ,@Old School

Here is a shocking results : Only 37 percent of Iranians (shia and sunni combined) consider themselves muslimo_O

Yes this means Iran today is being ruled by a MINORITY within a 37% MINORITY and we can see the results in last weeks nationwide rigged election where 90% of Iranian either did not vote or voted ( because of their jobs) for people not in the ballets ( protest votes)..

Scenes like this is being repeated every day in Iran now where this small minority within a minority is enforcing mandatory Hejab on majority population

A woman in a hospital refuses to obey the hejab and confronted by hejab enforcers.. (she is screaming I will not do it..I will not do it)..Enforced religion does not work!

Yeah I know that Islam is in a serious nosedive situation now. Iranians were always liberal along with the Turks and even today both countries expats you run into overseas are totally atheist. This pie chart is not a surprise to me and this was expected. However, with the GCC sheikhdoms openly turnin secular and distancing themselves from orthodox Islam, this is manifesting itself as an existential crises in Pakistan. Without Islam, Pakistan's raison d'etre quickly crumbles and our military junta gets exposed as nekkid. As much as we want civilian leadership and put the army in the barracks, a reality check on this means India will inevitably reabsorb us, without firing a single shot. Our country will not survive as an entity. The eastern two provinces are particularly vulnerable now to Indian machinations amid India's economic rise. That's why I've been harping on this inevitable crises which is already confronting our establishment that our country needs to move closer to Iran and Turkey along cultural lines before there is a calamity. We can't trust India.

They are mostly hillbilly people who want to convert to Zoroastrianism but the dastur bozorg/mobed say they can’t cuz they hillbilly…..😝…..Aaaahahahaaaaa….just desperate to become zartosht you know but they are not being allowed to join the zartosht community as in converts….😝…It’s great fun over there. Just ridiculous theories on how to revert Iran back to zartosht mazhab and as usual the Hindi/ yahudi are there as desperate side kicks to any which way to revert Iran quickly ASAP back to its roots….😝
Religion must be a matter of strict personal affairs, and the government has no business meddling with this. People will decide what they like to worship, be it an invisible superpower or the comical superhero Spider-Man. People should also have the right not to follow any religion. Therefore, the law of the state must be free from religious influences.

Our establishment will have to come up with a solution soon. Our Kashmir campaign has deflated totally. There is no interest among any rank or file to be fighting wars with India or anybody else. Funding from GCC has dried up too, and China's gone home. 90% of our ghareeb awaam is suffering from inflation. It's tough times down da road. I just hope we get some stability soon. I believe with the pro-India media rampant in our country, is the first step our establishment has taken to segregate church n state......its so obvious.

The church and state must be separated. This has happened in the West, China, and Japan and will also happen in the Gulf. Our Deobandis will not let it happen because religion is a big business here. The government must accommodate Madrassa students into the general education system. Religion has created millions of zombies in the country over the last 60 years. Religious countries are usually the most corrupt, too.

Fully agree with you..Religion and state do not mix and will destroy each other if mixed. We Iranians can see the results in today's Iran . Being world's largest owner of OIL+GAS combined, Iran could have had a GDP of 2 to 5 Trillion dollars by now (as per westen economist estimates and not my claim) if we did not have religious rule but instead our GDP is now close to a poor African country of 0.336 trillion dollars (2023) .Our National currency has depreciated 10,000 % since establishment of Islamic Republic.

This is the famous video about what Iran could have been.
