I believe the notion that India was never really a united country. It was a very tribal land mass with 400 million tribal jungli people with not much in common with each other. The British really governed/ exploited these people for a good 150 years and the colonial gimmicks/ racism convinced the hindus that India was always a nation going back billions of years.....lol
We have always been pre-occupied with what India is and isn't while forgetting how we have to rebuild Pakistan. A fully blind is unlikely to get back vision by saying the neighbor has only one eye !

The sooner Pakistan becomes a "Secular" nation the faster she will walk in the path of progress. Islamic Republic as a governing idea has failed miserably both in Pakistan and Iran. There is no reason why Pakistan can not do what already has started by India. You got the brains (West Asia first nuclear power and first to start space activity when everyone else was sleep in this area).
As for Iran my prediction is that within the next decade Iran will again be a "secular " nation but more important this time around Iran will also be a non- muslim nation with a small muslim minority population.
Hopefully the mullah crowd in Iran would also disappear from Iranian landscape after them appearing in the Iranian history only 500 years ago . Mullahs have always played a negative and destructive role in Iranian history. They were always considered "parasitic" entity and tools of foreign nations to impose their will on Iran. Invented 500 years ago by the Safavid shahs to control the population and later used by British to keep Iranian population from Progress..
We are scared they'd revert us if we drop the charade, the eastern two provinces will revert easy, cuz of cultural proximity to India......We have no foundation here other than running to Iran or turkey for cultural/ emotional/ financial support and sucking up to China. You understand this no? If we admit we are converts, then da game is up in two minutes. There's a lot at stake bro, 250 million people's lives and futures on da line.......you know right? US moves its benevolent hand and we'd fall on our faces, aass over head......yes, its like dat.

That's da package handed to us by the Brits......we are helpless!
We have been bearing the Zia-ul-Haq package. There is no need to blame the British all the time; we would have become Afghan Jahil or Jahilistan if there had been no British. The Delhi/Mughal sultanate never built a single University in all 1000 years. Oxford University was built in 1096 AD. Can you imagine? The British built the oldest one in our country- the University of Punjab, Lahore in 1882. Hong Kong was a British colony too. They were already more advanced than mainland China before the re-unification.

Nationalism and love of country in an average man is always stronger than religion...Just to show you an example in front of our eyes...

This Nowruz (few days ago) despite widespread mullah efforts to kill this cultural occasion for the Iranian it produced revers effect..Visiting ruins of Iran's pre-islam kingdom capital (PERSPOIS) is in particular a very sensitive issue and mullahs try very hard to discourage this event..They even started talking about demolishing the ruins (just as Taliban did in Afghanistan) to show their hatred towards anything related to Iran's Pre-Islamic culture.

THIS IS HOW IRANIANS RESPONDED......millions are flocking to Persepolis as we speak ..this is a 5 kilometer car line up in the road to this magnificent site yesterday

The Palestinian movement has always been about raising funds like a business model. The Late Yasser Arafat raised about some multi-billion( with a B) dollars in the name of the Palestinian movement, kept in his private overseas accounts, and there was infighting between his widow and other Palestinian leaders over this money as if it was a private inheritance issue.

WTF? Jahil talibunny have access to Chabahar port:

Interesting to see an Afghan report..I can understand 99% of what he says (with some accent of course )..

Few points about this deal..
If I put everything together about Afghanistan..it appears a grand deal has happened between Afghani mullahs and Iani mullahs (call it Two Mullah deal..lol)...
Iran will take in 15 million Afghans to lighten up the population burden on Talib and help Afghans via remittance etc..in Return Talibs will re-route their commerce from Pakistan to Iran..that will directly affect Pak/China and Gwadar port so I be interested to know your take on this...did the alliance between Pakistan and Taliban totally lost now!!.

I suspected this is the case now. The Mulla are keeping these talibunny as pets and also feeding them and giving them fuel. Pak/ Afghan relations are in the toilet. China has said its withdrawing all its engineers from Pakistan and has stopped all work on CPEC, since the last suicide attack few days ago. It's a very bad time for Pakistan these days. The US has warned Pakistan to get rid of China completely or they will cut IMF funding.

Pakistan can learn a lot from China, which is the USA's largest trading partner despite all the saber rattlings.
Historically, Pakistan was the closest US ally in South Asia until our Pak establishment started a double game with the religious extremists. We had to support the secular Afghan government following the Soviet withdrawal, but we were too greedy. It is our establishment's double game that has ruined our country.
The Kashmir issue could have been handled secularly to draw broader international support. Why do we always have to invoke religion to solve territorial disputes? Why is there no secular independence movement?
