Does Iran build heavy-duty construction and agricultural hardware like giant cranes, plow machines, combined harvesters, etc.?
The answer is Yes.. I have done some research on this because I ,myself a heavy user of Tractors here in Canada ( own two ). My latest data on this is as much as 80% of Ag machinery (including Tractors,Harvesters, combine etc) and good amount of construction equipment including Excavators are built/assembled in Iran..HEPCO is the biggest construction machinery manufactures and Tabriz has one of the biggest Tractor manufacturing plants in West Asia (including Engine). I have already covered the construction part in the "Made in Iran" thread here.

75 ton Excavator by Iran's HEPCO
Note 75 ton excavator is considered to be in the top heavy class excavators..
The original tweet says designed and built in Iran with 35% parts made in Iran which is good but we can do much more..

That is impressive. They should promote this kind of production hardware abroad. .

DIMDEX 2024: Iran reveals details of airborne synthetic aperture radar

by Ajay Shankar Pandey & Jeremy Binnie

The airborne SAR was displayed on the Iranian stand labelled as both the S-811 and the larger S-813. (Janes/Ajay Shankar Pandey)

Iran displayed a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) that it has developed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the DIMDEX 2024 show held in Doha from 4 to 6 March.

The SAR has a monopulse flat-plate slotted-array antenna and was labelled as both the S-811 and S-813, with Iranian officials refusing to identify which one it was.

An Arabic-language brochure provided details of both types, saying they can provide high-resolution images at long ranges in all light and weather conditions. It also claimed they have ground moving target indicator (GMTI) and micro-motion target indication (MMTI) modes.

Weighing 40 kg and drawing 500 W of power, the S-811 is the smaller one and was said to have a maximum detection range of 40 km, a resolution of 1 or 2 m, and a swath width of 1–5 km.

The S-813 weighs 70 kg, draws 700 W, and has a detection range of 150 km, a resolution of 1, 2, or 3 m, and a swath width of 1–10 km. Unlike the S-811, it has an inverse SAR mode.

I was reading about the huge IRGCN Saviz Makran and that Roudaki are an ingenious adaptation for modern warfare. They are using these FOB's today in a huge area in both the north and south Indian ocean. some reports say that these things are supporting submarine replenishment operations deep in the Indian ocean, providing surveillance and targeting data to allies, serve as anti-sub helicopter carriers and carry large stores of equipment to equip a battalion sized force on da dime. Very impressive multi-purpose innovation.
