India is not just building for itself, it is creating solutions that have the potential to transform global health and development, Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates said on Wednesday.

He was speaking at ‘Future Forward’, a forum hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Gates Foundation and the Women’s Collective Forum, at the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi.

Gates referred to India’s digital ecosystem, inclusive economic growth and technological breakthroughs as a model for the world.

“India has made significant progress in health and development through low-cost innovations,” he said.

He also said India is building the future with its role in affordable healthcare, AI-powered diagnostics and digital public infrastructure. He pointed to the importance of scaling India’s innovative solutions globally to address challenges in emerging economies. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to working with Indian innovators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs in AI, healthcare, and sustainable development.

Former Minister Smriti Irani, Chairperson, Alliance for Global Good-Gender Equity and Equality, referred to investment for social innovation as “a transformative force that reshapes societies”.

Sanjiv Puri, President of CII, and Chairman and MD of ITC Ltd, said: “The success of initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat program and digital financial inclusion, and AI powered agricultural solutions, proves...policy and technology...can create scalable, sustainable solutions that serve as global benchmarks”.

Gates is like Soros, man.

If he says good, Matlab khatra hai..
Saying something nice about a country like India will obviously sound sweet to Indians.

Gates knows this.

Low cost healthcare for the poor is not exclusive to India.

China also has it, and that is why a lot of Bangladeshis are going there now, in absence of Indian medical visas. Thailand too.

I'm very weary of his push for vaccines, in fact, scratch that.. he's manically obsessive about running all these vaccine programs in the poor world, Africa, subcontinent here, south America..

hurr jageh saala sab greebon ko injections lagva ra ae

Allopathy stresses too much on control of decease and not on being healthy and curing the decease. Aurveda says

प्रयोजनं चास्य स्वस्थस्य स्वास्थ्यरक्षणं आतुरस्य विकारप्रशमनं च ॥

Means:

  • To maintain the health of a healthy individual (Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam).
  • To cure diseases in an ill person (Aturasya Vikara Prashamanam).
We need to gradually shift to Ayurveda and ditch Allopathy gradually. We use it too much. What we need to do is to use it as and when other therapies don't available. In rest of the cases, we should use other therapies predominantly Ayurveda.

Bilkul, aaj kal baccha paida hote hi vaccinations ka poora course.. and then every few years till adolescent. Not good.

Natural healthy khana khao, fruits and veggies, balanced diet and people are fine.

Ayurveda they still studying but its not there yet, Steve Jobbs, famously refused and stuck to nature cures.. hua nahi uska, jabki dunia ka one of biggest arabpati insaan and was bhakth of Neem karoli baba even (iinw)

Mamla serious ho, then go with tried and tested modern medicine.

For the rest, one can try what helps.

Aaj kal, bhau, chemicals kitnay hote hain har cheez me, spl eggs and meat if one consumes those, but even veggies.

Trade is another bloody thing I can't understand.. bc every market full of California grapes, Chinese Orange (mandarin and tangerine wagera)..

Apple bhi california ke !?!?! bc.. Kashmiri, Himachali maal ni mil ra inna vadiya waala.. woh sub jaa ra export markets ke liye.. wtf 🤣

@Paitoo uddin Lekhak .. you noticed this *&*&*&*& when out grocery shopping ? .. been this way for years

apna desi fruit dekhne me is not so good, but andar ka swaad zyada, prakriti devi ki daen..

New trend among little bit upwardly mobile sorted proper waley logion ka hai ki khud farming karein, in their whatever small (comparatively) farms. My cousin been doing it, just goz she got a green thumb and loves gardening/farming etc.. so we get seasonal stuff.. bhejti rehti friends and family ko.. natural nimbus the size of cricket balls, not even lime fruit.. desi nimbu hi inna waada ugg raha, zyada juice bhi.. root veggies, muli, beetroot, and few others too.. swaad hi alag hai us khanne da... zmeen aasman da fark.

"Bangladeshis are going there now, in absence of Indian medical visas." Is what you say. This means China was not your first choice. Let me tell you that S**t Chinese medical sectors is nowhere near where India is. Look at their medicines, Corona vaccine with lots of side effect, Substandard medicines which is banned in many countries and China sell them from back door under Indian tag. Their semi-skilled doctors are not good enough to treat many difficult diseases.

Anyway, it is good that now Bangladeshis now go to China. Afterall, they have deeper than ocean friendship and medical treatment from Hindus should be Haram.
