In an interview to discuss the sort of campaign waged by the BJP in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, where conscious and deliberate attempts were made in speeches and advertisements to demonize and vilify the Muslim community, one of the country’s best known bloggers and a widely read author of short stories, Avay Shukla, has said “We’ve become a Muslim-hating country” and India faces “an existential crisis”. Mr. Shukla says: “We are creating the grounds for an explosion”. He adds: “I despair for my children, I despair for my country, I don’t see any ray of hope”.

What you are saying is true buy incomplete truth. It is not only Hindus who hates Muslims. Christians Hate Muslims, Buddhist hate Muslims, Chinese Hate Muslims, Christians hate Muslims and most important of all Shias are hated by Sunnis more than anybody else. Same way, Sunnis are hated by Shias more than anybody else. Sometimes ago, Saudi beheaded 83 People and many of them were Shia Maulvis and Maulanas. In retaliation, Iran Hanged 13 Sunni Priests.

They are not hated because of their religion but because of what they do on the name of religion.
