National Security Intelligence (NSI) has been appointed as the new Director General (DG). The government has appointed Hossain Al Morshed PSC. The Ministry of Public Administration issued the order on Tuesday. According to the order, army officer BA-4314 Major General Md. Hussain Al Morshed has been appointed as the Director General of NSI. The order, signed by President's Deputy Secretary Abdullah Arif Mohammad, will be implemented immediately in the public interest.

@Old School bhai , what's the speciality of this general? Is he a pro China guy?

Maj. Gen. Hussain Al Morshed used to be the director of the same NSI. It is new in BD to promote someone from within the agency of this stature. NSI is traditionally a pro-government agency with more internal security roles. I once saw them even watching the share index at DSE!! One of their major tasks is to complete the annual confidential reports of the government employees of all governmental departments in Bangladesh. Very boring and time-consuming task.
