When I pointed this out, one racist responded. Below is what he said. I am sure he exaggerated due to his bias. Amusing.

I've worked at places where 100% of the IT staff were not only Indian but from the same village. I've seen, with my own eyes, Indian managers asking HR-selected candidates different questions. Indian applicants get questions like, "What is an example of an INT value?" Non-Indians get something like, "On paper, show the code to create an in-order traversal on a binary tree to get the elements in sorted order."

Of course, an Indian Hiring manager will even SEE an Indian candidate. I've had more than my fair share of HR telling candidates they meet every qualification, yet the Indian hiring manager turns them down without ever meeting them.

I've read that recruiters won't bother with non-Indians anymore. I read one complaining on Reddit that it's a waste of time, as Indian Managers won't even see them. One chap even posted the emails he got from other recruiters about their roster of candidates. Out of 300 names, not a single one was non-Indian.

I believe you (Lord Jim). Many years ago I was told by an Indian CEO I met briefly in a cocktail lounge that he did the same thing. Fired all the White male employees of his IT firm one-by-one, then hired Indians from his village one-by-one. I think he had one too many cocktails and was bragging that he could do this because he was now a CEO.
