Indian experts have already said that there is nothing to reengineer from PL 15. Its seeker and data link are inferior to Astra. Only use ofbthe missile is to decode data for counter measures.Taiwan, US, Japan and France wants the data.

For present Indians I think its a combination of their view of Parsis and their belief that Iranians are Parsis only who were forcibly converted to Islam but were originally agni poojaks.

Never mind the fact that 1400 years have passed since then.
