Otherwise, Afghanistan will never ever friend to Pakistan, they always attacked since Khan's dynasty till British and beyond.

We must treat Afghanistan as an enemy of Pakistan and involve Iran in this to make sure we can both contain this jihadi threat to our nations.

Iran can mess them up quick and without much trouble if we talk to Iran and ask them to break up Afghanistan along Persian/ Pashto lines.

Border Clash at Pak-Afghan Border: Infiltration Foiled

Location: Kundau Post, Shahi Kot, Tehsil Brawal, Pak-Afghan Border

At approximately 0915 hours today, a confrontation erupted between Pakistani border troops and armed terrorists attempting to infiltrate from the Afghan side at the Kundau Post in Shahi Kot, Tehsil Brawal.

The attackers were reportedly backed by Afghan border troops.

During the exchange of fire, Pakistani soldier Yunus sustained serious injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he tragically succumbed to his wounds.

The Pakistani forces successfully repelled the infiltration attempt, inflicting heavy casualties on both the terrorists and the Afghan border troops assisting them.

Every week a dozen of our soldiers die and same number grievously wounded. How is this any consolation?

We should talk to Iran and stop this madness. Convince Iran to destroy the taliban.

Have you considered the possibility that Iran has no interest in destroying a force that is attacking (and bleeding) Pakistan?

If Iran wanted to meddle in Afghanistan, they would not be building a very big wall between them.

I'm afraid that Pakistan is surrounded by neighbours who are not friendly.

To put it mildly.

Pakistan currently I believe does not care what is happening at its borders. Because bit is in a state of war and siege within.

Iran and India are two large militaries that are currently largely silent. Simply watching.

What the Taliban are doing is what the Afghans always wanted.

And never accepted.

Pakistan's ONLY chance of a friendly or at least not unfriendly Iran were if the Taliban or the Baloch (on both sides) to coalesce into a united fighting force that started attacking Iran equally.

But you and I both know that if the Kurds can't and won't do it, the Talibs and Baloch surely can't. Leave alone won't.

She used to be on pdf 20 years ago and I used to tell that look your province is all about Al-Qaeda and Osama and this is going to have terrible consequences, and she hated me for saying it.

Today she still goes from one IED blast to the next suicide bombing and takes pics and 'reports' on the frequent carnage in KPK. Pretty much what she started doing 20 years ago as a journalist.

I'm just lost for words now on how bad things have turned out in KPK. Simply put, our KPK is a disaster zone.

KPK needs a political solution but if you go down that 'autonomy' road, we might be looking at another KRG/ talibunny Afghanistan extension sitting up there doing all manner of terror.

Iran should be involved in this because these guys are basically Al-Qaeda type people and will be a threat to Iran as well if they are not checked.

Problem is they got nothing to offer or put jack shiit on the table. Just tribal nonsense and jahil stories.

Iran needs to civilize this whole chutiya central asia and Afghanistan, cuz we can't do it doc. We don't got the money nor the will let alone the patience.

The other issue is afghani/ central asian turn into a 'sarrak ka doggy' in front of the Irani's in 2 seconds, but they totally disrespects us.

Al-Qaeda/ Daesh/ Separatism/ Ethnic chauvinism etc are all CIA/ Mossad machinations.
