G Pakistan Navy

It is actually BN2T4S which has a longer fuselage. They were previously being used for the Royal Navy which sold them back to Britten Norman. All of them (around 9 aircrafts) are used. PMSA at this stage has only contracted one aircraft and that too in local currency which is a difficult procurement proposition.

Two more similar and newer platforms of the PT-6A powered class under development and flying now in 2024. Advantages are that both of these can carry modular LD3 containers as standard. I like the Indonesian platform more because of lower cost of production, more stable design (wider track) and better support. As G8 countries we Muslim countries should support Indonesian product. However it needs aerodynamic improvements like wheel covers/spats.
