We have a Bengal regiment.

You sure ?We have a Bengal regiment.

Its called the Bengal Engineering Corps (Bengal Sappers).gooble AI sez:
The "Bengal Regiment" in the Indian Army is not a single, existing regiment in the same way as regiments like the Bihar Regiment or the Madras Regiment according to military history sites. Instead, the term refers to a historical grouping of regiments raised by the East India Company's Bengal Army, which were later absorbed into the British Indian Army. While there isn't a current Bengal Regiment, the legacy of these regiments is part of the Indian Army's history.

we dont like em either, the chuddijeebisIts called the Bengal Engineering Corps (Bengal Sappers).
The Bengal Regiment was never "absorbed" as the chtyapa you have googgled and posted.
It was specifically disbanded by the British for being the one that mutinied in 1857.
While all North Indian regiments (including Pakistani) stayed meekly quiet. And in fact crushed the mutiny.
There is a reason Bengalis hate north Indians.
Read.
