Trump doesn't want anything to do with it. They've been burnt in Iraq and A-stan with the poor outcomes from those interventions.
You guys take care of it now, Turkey and Israel.. Ideally along with Iran, but it's a very complicated region... also lots of bad actors in the Syrian rebels.. very tricky situation, good luck.
