When I was young, it was not so common to see a Pakistani with an Indian soap opera beard. That has changed. Today, it is very hard to find our guys who do not copy Indian soap opera actors with beards. Try finding a recent wedding picture where the Pakistani groom has no beard. They all now look like Indian soap opera actors/cricketers ( joker).

Our pop in da US been cut down to a third of what it was pre-911. This is how deys operate. Indians now number well over 5 mill....!....Aur 3 million Irani Shahi just in greater LA/ Cali. What political impact could we ever have in da US?

We are not Iranis after all and Indian lobby will become winner in the end in the US. I can see it every day. That is not a bad thing though as ordinary Americans do not differentiate between Indian and Pakistani. That will be difficult to swallow for many of us but it is not bad strategically. We have much less to concern about xenophobia in the US than many other parts of the world. We have to think about our own interests at the end day.
