What Nehru did and followed up by Indra for India back in the 60's with the indigenization of the manufacturing, engineering and local construction/ contracting mobs was a masterstroke. Now yous got all the big engineering/ construction companies with local offices in India with local talent. This is the crux.

Do you live in India? What culture are you talking about? The most dishonest and greedy people love in here
If that's true, then you have earned my respect.I think you want to say live in India. Yes, there are dishonest and highly honest people in India. I have made thousands of crores of payment to various parties and contractors as a finance guy in various positions. I have never taken even a single rupee bribe or a smallest undue advantage of any vendor iny whole carrier. However, there are my colleagues who are corrupt and always in search of getting some favour from parties either in cash or kind.
ooh, niice.. NOIDA eh ? I thought Gurgaon or Guru gram now, in MOdi's vedic revivalist India)Yeah that whole noida area was totally turbocharged way back in the day with lots of industry imaginable.
I stayed at the crown plaza there for months at a time. Lots of Aussie refinery team guys too.
Saw all of Delhi and Agra and Jaipur on different weekends.
Problem with India is the over population bhai vurna looking at it now the Indian economy is unstoppable.
Hamain 3 lakh dollar contract rate milta thaa annually the Indian engineers wouldn’t make that in their lifetimes.
However the technology and skills transfer was the most important thing for the Indians.
Many adventurous ones went to Australia and the US From the Noida office eventually and are doing well. Few moved back too after realizing how hard it is to settle in a western country when you go there as a professional late in your career.
Many still there in gurgaon and perfectly happy there.
To each his own bhai.
