They can be pretty racist, very in-group mentality. Unki national psyche hi aisi hai, cause they always under the pump, being attacked, or at war.. that, plus the draft. Having said that, and as is the case with virtually any other group of people, there's really nice people too. This Pajeit is from Rajasthaand, Pushkar ka hai shayad.. big backpacker destination, and the whole city is strict veggie.. that's where he netted her.

Abhi scene changed, even from just as relatively recently back as the 90s, digital zamana hai, you tall these crazy new agers doing the same old backpacker routes now.. India, Nepal, Myanmar, whole Mekong delta and on to deeper SE Asia, and then to Straya.. where they do odd farm jobs etc for 6 months, live like bhikaris, and retrace back to the Himalyas.. acchi life hai, both gap year kids and repeaters who live life on the road.. trinkets, paintings, pop up restaurants khol lete hain..
