Same in Bangladesh - old school Bangladeshi politicians are all looters, Gareeb da huq lootnewala. Except maybe Jamaat. They are superbly corruption free, being an Islamist party.

That is why the student revolutionaries in Bangladesh formed a new party (NCP) and are collaborating with the US to form a new govt. US is game on this disruptive arrangement so far. Deep state or not, things need to change in Bangladesh.
