We have special food every day. Very delicious veg food. It is simple but so testy. I never like restaurant food no matter how good it is. I have sourced some tooooo good food grain Desi food grain grown organically. Desi Basmati rice grown in Dang jungle, Black moong, Bhalia Wheat, cow ghee. You do not need anything. Only Roti and Chutney will give you batter test than any damn good restaurant food. I can bet that if you eat Thepla with white butter and Raita (only 2 items) with me, you will forget everything. No food shall be tested batter.

Tame Gujarati ccho?

I had a Brahman friend in Australia and he made one of the best daal for me that chilka urad.

He just boiled it with a pinch of chilli flakes. Once done he added asefoetida and onion tarrka.

That was the extent of it.

I’ve actually never had daal like that.

So simple yet wonderful.

He told me you don’t even need onion. Just put a teaspoon of Desi ghee. Nothing else!

I was just surprised that he wasn’t kidding.

That day I started appreciating the simplicity of hindu Brahman food.

They know exactly what they’re doing with vegetarian food.

No opinion on any religion. Many preachers have come n gone here. Thousands of hillbilly Christy X-Tians come here to brainwash the Japanese. However because of higher IQ and high standard of living, the missionaries are largely unsuccessful.

However, this is in stark contrast to South Korea where 30% of the population is Christy X-Tian now. Here in Japan it’s less than 1% Christy X-Tian.

Ajeeb baat hae bhai. Japanese ko chutiya banana is very hard.

I have seen some Japanese attracted towards Hinduism.

My wife’s Shinto, which is the main religion here in Japan. However Shinto religion is basically worshipping nature. So come February you go to the main Shinto shrine here in the city of Ise. There you go stand in front of the main altar, clap twice and bow your head. Stay silent for a minute……put a donation in the box. Take a few steps back, bow down and walk out in solitude.

That’s about the extent of religion I’ve seen here bhai…..
Bro do you know the Nicherin ? There's the soka gakai and one other sub sect thing. I knew someone who was into it, she even later got a gohon zong installed at her place, a Jap priest blessed her house, was a pretty big deal, she told me.

Just talked my wife and this is her response:

This is Buddhist not necessarily a cult which she says because this is new age Buddhism, and the founder just died recently.

Most Japanese are into Buddhism and revere our Taxila Hellenistic variety of Gandhara.

Gandhara was the greatest Buddhist stronghold for the longest time!

And because the Buddha/ Bodhisatva were crafted in the western sculpture, it has special reverence.

Do buddhists hold Pakistan highly in the Buddhist spectrum? As in a high value Buddhist area?

Most left over Buddhist are poor people in Thailand or Burma or Laos or Cambodia.

Japanese are rich and they come and visit our taxila and moenjodaro and Harrpa. The Indus Valley civilization.

Hard to believe that the crux of Indus Valley civilization is in Pakistan today….😝👌
