India cannot dictate the defense purchases of a neighboring country like Bangladesh - India should try to fix its foreign policy first.

And should give its anti-neighbor propaganda machine a rest.

Currently, India is enjoying 0 threat in its Eastern front due to Bangladesh air force's weakness. But this will change as soon as new fighters, either from China or from Pakistan, comes to Bangladesh. India will be forced to deploy more resources to maintain balance of power situation in its Eastern front. That's why they are opposing any purchase of new aircraft by Bangladesh.
