It is very rare to find such a Pakistani in the USA, which denies his Pakistanhood. However, I have seen here in the USA a few who claim to be Emirati, Omani, Bahrani etc, while they are all from the former FATA agencies.

yaar don't you remember after 911 how so many of our people just immediately used to say we are 'Indians' to get away from being 'stigmatized' as Al-Qaeda/ talibunny lovers by the hillbilly. :p ......I lived in da midwest near Chicago and it was just fear and loathing everywhere. All the arbi started saying dey are Greeks and Assyrian christy X-Tians and our jhaggay turned Indians in no time. :p......It got so ugly in the immediate aftermath of 911. Millions left the US in fear of being caught up in da FBI dragnet, if they were illegal. There used to 1.6 million Pakistani's in the US before 911. Today there are less than 600k.

Ordinary Americans consider all South Asian to be Muslims and they even beat up hindus and sikhs mistaken for Muslims. They do not understand that Christianity and Jews came to Pakistan a thousand years before Columbus.

If hendu-pak ain't metro-sexual lookin as in clean cut and bathed/ showered/ decent clothes/ not too dark like Indian and with money/ education presenting himself like an educated westernized migrant, westerners just reject him/ her like they do wid da bhlack peepal. It's very bad! I's seen it in Devon our biggest Pakistani hood in da Chi-Raaq.

When I was young, it was not so common to see a Pakistani with an Indian soap opera beard. That has changed. Today, it is very hard to find our guys who do not copy Indian soap opera actors with beards. Try finding a recent wedding picture where the Pakistani groom has no beard. They all now look like Indian soap opera actors/cricketers ( joker).

With Turkish dramas, American dramas, Indian Dramas, and our dramas, there is now an odd blend of Pakistani dramas that emulate all of the above.

I grew up seeing my grandfather, father, and uncles all clean shave every single morning. I still do the same. But I cannot believe my eyes when I look at many others. Some became Tablighi, and others looked like failed soap opera actors with beards.
 
This is horrible guys. After 911 hmaray logon ka jo hashar kara hae hillbilly nay. It's just a sad story. Millions got harassed to death and literally frog marched out of the country. I just hope most found refuge in either Canada or UK or Australia or even Mexico. Hendu-pak unfortunately got no standing in da US, even if dey get da money, cuz da Anglo-Waspy society would never accept them, except as Jews. Our pop in da US been cut down to a third of what it was pre-911. This is how deys operate. Indians now number well over 5 mill....!....Aur 3 million Irani Shahi just in greater LA/ Cali. What political impact could we ever have in da US?

Iran needs to create a new lobby in da US led by da colored muzlims.......Its only fair.....If da Jew can pull dis off, den so can we no?

We are not Iranis after all and Indian lobby will become winner in the end in the US. I can see it every day. That is not a bad thing though as ordinary Americans do not differentiate between Indian and Pakistani. That will be difficult to swallow for many of us but it is not bad strategically. We have much less to concern about xenophobia in the US than many other parts of the world. We have to think about our own interests at the end day.

The whole reason for the yahuday for bringing in da coloreds out west is so he can breathe eazy no? He don’t wanna be in da spotlight at all. If Iran dismantles Isra-heel aleh salam, what’s goin happen to 69% of Isra-heli colored middle eastern Jews who look Arab? You think da hillbillies will accept dem on face value as yahuday and not muzz-lim? I don’t think so. Most Isra-heli look colored and dats what it all boils down to. Our ghareeb in NYC/ NJ/ CT tri-state area. I always tell our community to go eat in our Pakistani cabby joints and help out our own community cuz da food is good n fresh, if you have lunch there, not dinner. Keep in mind guys.....if you get in trouble, only your own will help you out.....Trump sahb coming back come Christmas, Its just goin be a nasty racist surprise coming up soon. Those "so many" people mostly consist of Muhajirs & Sindhis. Rest of Pakistanis don't want to associate with India. Long after and long before "war on terror" era, it was Muhajirs & Sindhis who always had a feel for Bharat & Bollywood.

Not to mention how white-washed elite class Muhajirs & Sindhis can be.

Sindhis were originally never considered to be a caste under Sanatana dharma. They were outside the caste system. Therefore, they were not even Hindu or Buddhists. To escape this social dogma they converted to Islam along with their landlords or feudal loads who owned their lands where Sindis used to work as serfs. I also know about the background of Punjabi converts.

Santana Dharama apparently also has no mention in Vedic or other ancient texts, so this whole thing is a misnomer. However if you go to Wikipedia, even pre-Islamic Sindhi deities are being flagged as "Hindu."

Even the Kalash are now being flagged as "Hindu." Pathetic.

Sanatan Dharma is as new as the term Hinduism or Hindu (religious sense) and was a product of the 19th century and came out of reform schools during colonial rule

It doesn't matter. Caste system is part of the Hindus. Sindhis were outcasts similar to Dalits.

Most bureaucrats and admin staff of the Sultan/Mughals/British were, therefore, the Bramins. Even the Sultans relied more on the Brahmins than the native low-caste illiterate converts. Even today, education largely follows the family tradition with few exceptions. If parents are university graduates, the children are more likely to follow suit.

Brahmins make up only three percent of the Indian population, but seven of the nine Indian-born/Indian-origin Nobel laureates are Brahmins. The only Indian to win the Fields award in mathematics is a Brahmin.
