How did you learn Hindi? Earlier generation of Bangladeshis, for example Mage of original PDF, don't know Hindi.

I have Urdu speaking friends/family. And Hindi uses the same Sanskrit/Magadhi terms as Bengali does.

I have to say though - Bengali literature and grammar is far richer than other languages in India by what I have known and seen - some would disagree. The only exception is Tamil literature, which is as developed if not more than that of Bengali.

Its obvious he sucks up to Indians in the real world, probably is surrounded by them at work, and likely has an Indian boss, who he sucks up to by speaking his atrocious grammar Hindi.
