The military cannot release the name of a service member killed without consent of the family. The family of this particular pilot has not consented to have the name released. That is about all that matters for now, with no need for speculation. The investigation report will reveal the cause, name released or not. Another small private jet crashed earlier today in philly.

The reasons and circumstance for both of these crashes are entirely different.
