The incumbent Modi government talks of a "Viksit Bharat" – a prosperous and developed India. Great idea. But study the numbers carefully.

Those who begs rice from us are very excited to read some bluffing from an Idiot.

However, we should not counter their arguments and let them be happy. In their lives of scarcity and hunger, these are the only news which makes them happy. Being happy is everyone's right. We should respect their rights.

It's good you tagged people on this - but these are established facts determined by reputed Int'l organizations. Not subjects of debate or conjecture.

Every fact the professor talks about is correct to a tee. He is not spouting BS.

India has always been an unequal country (getting worse by the year - also well established fact) and the favorite subject of nationalist Indians is to close their eyes to the 90% poor, just like they do when passing by slums on the freeway in Mumbai or Delhi.

Or totally ignore the slums of Dharavi while landing at Mumbai's main airport.

Does logic matters to you?

IMF, world bank, Goldman Sachs reports etc is not reliable for you guys. Only when something bad is about India becomes reliable for you. When IMF says that India has eliminated hunger poverty, you will argue against it. When some idiot says that India is poorer than sub Saharan Africa, that gives you a lots of orgasm. As you say, you visit India very often, where did you see any poverty worse than sub Saharan Africa? Can you name a single place? I have not seen any such places in my life.
