His chopper crashed in the mountains in thick fog. They couldn't find it for 12 hrs or so, so they asked the turks if they can help find the crash site. The turks couldn't find it either.

After about 16 hrs time elapsed the Iranians found it after the fog cleared up a bit. So much drama was created.

Not much news coming out. Israels backed down.......Iran launched a dozen or so hypersonics last night. Most of them hit their targets.

but were they unable to find the remains once the wreckage was located ? I think that's what LegionnairE was saying.
