It is hugely expensive for a battered economy like the US to maintain this sort of force projection and project this sort of war readiness thousands of miles away from home.
Millions, even billions of dollars, each day.
Remember. Three fkn carrier groups. Even one is more than the combined military might of many top tier countries put together.
Dollars they need desperately at home. Dollars they need against China. Dollars they need against Russia. Dollars they do not have. And need to print.
In my opinion, Marathi mein ek kahawat hai. Khana thanda karke khaya jaata hai.
Iran should do nothing. Business as usual. War on Israel continues. Ignore the US totally.
Then when the US wraps up, as they will, as they must, Iran should go to war.
Yes, let the US redeploy. Iran goes underground once more. Takes a few hits.
US wraps up once more. Iran goes to war again. Hitting even harder. Further. Deeper into US interests and protectorates.
The US has a breaking point. If Afghanistan can exhaust and defeat them, as can Vietnam, and Korea, then sure can Iran.
Eventually the US will either have to call it quits. Or put boots on the ground.
Take a wild guess what is going to happen.
