In theory geographical advantage (a higher ground of sorts waali baat) hai Iran ka, but they lack the requisite naval firepower to put it to practice.

US and allies will have total domination in the air, on sea, under sea.. and Gulfie alliesm who will hide behind Sam's skirt, but will still fire on Iran.

Cooler heads will likely prevail, the fallout for the global economy will be huge, oil disruptions, travel and trade disruptions... very busy sea lanes, those.
