Americas' 70,000 Indians about to get deported from Canada

250K per year for a much smaller country, quite a lot. Do they allow the abuse of their system as Canada allows? Indians sadly has made Canada a joke now by abusing the system, they have made it harder for other immigrants - especially Pakistanis as most Canadians either group us with Indians or confuse us with them.

I don’t think there are that many Indians down under like in Canada, but still high enough to be troublesome. The are without a doubt most numerous. Then come the Chinese followed by the Filipinos and the Vietnamese in numbers. We Pakistani are way way down on the numbers.

Ah, last checked Pakistan was at 4th place below the Chinese at one point. now adays there are many Afghans and Syrians along with Ukranians in Canada I here.

What was your situation like dealing with off-the-boat Indians? Particularly Punjabis? Are there a lot of them in your area as well?

No not that many in my part of Toronto.
I've encountered a limited number of them in the GTA.

My conflict was with a Sri Lankan Tamil who was blabbering about Pakistanis. Had a rude encounter with an Afghan at a shop during my first few months in Canada in 2001.

But it doesn't mean I necessarily have a positive impression of Gangus just because I haven't met too many.
