Phir janab wo Banda Hamain is restaurant main le gaya jahan mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai ke Maine khana khaya tha. It was very famous restaurant at that time and he told us that this restaurant has multiple flavours of the same cuisine. If a gora orders curry, it will be sweet and if a Pakistani orders curry it will be spicy.

i have been to bradford and eaten at phat boy restaurant it was great and fairly priced. plus they got this place called big fellas pizza damn the pizzas taste great with sauce inside it. the houses are big and plenty of buildings to rent its a big place. people in bradford live in another time it as if they dont know whats going on outside or in england too busy with their lives. in my town if someone comes in to your area they people of my town will notice plus are much more political ad conspiratorial kind.

If a gora orders curry, it will be sweet and if a Pakistani orders curry it will be spicy.

For the local English customers, it is always the same gravy as mashed boiled carrots, onion, lamb stock, some tomatoes, and sweet green/red peppers. They pre-cook the meat/vegetables without onion and keep them in the cooler. When customers order, they put some curry powder in the frying pan and mix the gravy with the pre-cooked meat/vegetables. If it is Qorma, they throw some cream/yogurt. If it is masala, they add coconut/almond powder, and cream/yogurt. It is the standard in all UK desi restaurants. It was not that great 20 years ago for the Desi people, either. The dishes were very watery, often missing the right amount of ginger, garlic, and garam masala. Honestly, there is no real Pakistani restaurant food outside Pakistan ( and my personal kitchen) as I travel frequently to 4 continents.

In my neck of the woods - we have Bandoo Khan, a nice eatery with (I'd say) somewhat authentic Pakistani street food.

The place is packed with families on the weekends.

I visited twice - and dare say, wasn't disappointed. Reasonably priced, as well.

Interesting that the cooks are all Mexican or Central American.

They probably follow the same formula you mentioned, except the Kabab and Parathas.

Bandoo Khan was initially in our city in Florida, but he shut down his business and moved. He is a very miserly guy who hardly ever takes a shower !! He was operating with predominantly Latino employees. It was overpriced compared to the portion, and he had no chapati roti. Only nan and rumali roti.

Yeah I think same menu here in LA as well, never seen the guy or the misfortune to smell him. Though compared to LA restaurant prices, his prices aren't really considered high. Even fast food in LA, you can't get out without spending at least $25 per person per meal nowadays. And sit-down restaurants are astronomical.

I don't think he ever met any plate of curry he disliked.

Looking at his size, he could eat a whole lamb.

Yeah I think same menu here in LA as well, never seen the guy or the misfortune to smell him. Though compared to LA restaurant prices, his prices aren't really considered high. Even fast food in LA, you can't get out without spending at least $25 per person per meal nowadays. And sit-down restaurants are astronomical.

Our Florida sales tax here only 7% and grocery food is free of tax. Your California collects the highest amount taxes to enrich big corporations by subsidizing and ‘woke’ lobbyists. I hate ‘woke’ culture and a also an ardent Republican Trump voter.

Politically I am on the fence, but definitely not "woke". Yeah we do have a problem in California. People are leaving in droves to Texas and Florida.

I can never live in a ‘blue’ state. I enjoy mangoes from my own mango trees in Florida while chewing my garden Paan. lol

Sir once upon a time, I had the pleasure to eat at a Lebanese Restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. We ordered very basic food and the bill came of $78 for 3 people. So your estimation is true

With this money, I could host 30 people at my Palace in Pakistan.

Maine last time restaurant se Makhmali Chicken aur butter chicken 950 rupees ka khaya tha. The inflation is unbelievable in Pakistan.
