The number of Pakistanis? I've noticed this trend too. Usually the UK was our 'placeholder' the same way North Africans hold France and the Turks hold Germany and parts of central Europe.

No. These are Pakistani Passport holders who did not naturalize. Mind that the Polish started coming to the UK in large numbers only in 2003 by bus, and many were not naturalized due to EU nationality. They just carry PR status now after Brexit as many Pakistanis do. We are still in the millions if we count the naturalized. Knowing how to read stats can make things a lot easier.

Yeah, it's by reading the stats that I was surprised that Pakistanis dropped in the UK. We are no longer on the top as per the latest censuses.
