Gujarat is less know for its natural and scenic beauties. However, it is a very beautiful place and some of the places of Gujarat are really beautiful for their Scenic beauty in some particular season. I've seen vids of the Gir forest in Gujrat where the super endangered Asiatic lions have their last known refuge.

Small numbers left bhai before their inevitable extinction.

It'll be a very sad day if that happens.

Lions ka bad scene hai in India, Tigers ka good, improving scene hai..

they imported cheetahs from Africa, sab mar gaye becharey.

Asiatic lion is kinda fuss and small compared to African ones, woh hai asli King wala lion.. very sad about the Gujarat lion.

There's some other big cats in the lush jungles of the Deccan too, Leopards hai idhar wild.

Now with the care of forest department, their number has grown above 600. 14000 sq k.m Jungle is not enough to accommodate this number of lions. Now they are thinking to shift them to kanha jungle.

The Eurasian Lion once roamed the huge continent from central Europe to western China, large parts of ME and south into India.

It is a distinct species and quite different to the African Lion.

Genetic clones must be lab produced and reintroduced back into its former lands in isolated forests.

Now.......the team has found out the wolly mammoth DNA has been compromised!

New research indicates that even at -180 DegC.......the max you can keep dna viable for use with current technology is no more than 150 years max.....

After that it degenerates and can no longer be recovered.....

So woolly mammoth is struck off da list to be ressurrected for animals that have gone extinct in the last 50,000 years or so.

So forget about Sabre Tooth tiger or the Aussie Tasmanian tiger as well.

Many here in far east were actually thinking that bringing back the wooly mammoth is about to happen……now hopes are dashed bhai. It was an unexpected and damning news and now many extinct species lying in formaldehyde jars for the last century in various museums are also doomed and cannot be resurrected from cloning.

That Jurassic Park filumm was the greatest thing out here in the far east when it came out a generation ago. Super smash success movie because everyone’s a science geek here and made that movie into an icon here in Japan.

So everyone was anticipating seeing the wooly mammoth resurrected and the long lost Japanese timber wolf brought back to life via cloning and same same with the gir forest lions replicated by the thousands in Korean and Japanese clone labs.

There are labs here that can clone your pet if it dies for like $50k.
