Most 'Al-Baqistani' living in de west as second class citizens don't understand the power of China! When yous graduating half a million people in STEM annually, and been doing it since da last two decades straight!.......Don't get surprised when China overtakes the entire world in technology. It's already fairly obvious what's up no? Cheap high tech available to the global peasants no? Denying dis is just chutiyappa. Following close behind are da hindu.....and then da Irani-turani fast catching up. Our establishment needs to understand wtf is going on in de whurrld before its too late. Look at the statistics on global STEM graduates/ innovation/ patents etc.....

Our establishment needs to seriously think about our future bhai. We are not just pushovers, we just need good leadership and we'll get over dis hump. We got smarter people in our country than both Iran n Turkey put together. Our bewaquff gubment mismanaging and not stepping up to govern us properly.

It is not all the government's fault, as the government is made of the people. No one from the other planet formed the government. The real issue is more cultural than political. Up until 1969, Pakistan was on the right track. The economy was doing great; PKR enjoyed a high rate against all major currencies, and people were happy. A lot of development works were going on in all sectors. We even entered the space program in that period! All started to fall apart ever since 1970. In particular, General Zia-ul-Haq took the country to a new low by promoting a brainwashed culture, for which we are still paying the price. We must learn to take responsibility for our actions instead of blaming phantoms.
Experts laud China's role in advancing Hybrid Rice cultivation in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Experts lauded China's role in advancing Hybrid Rice cultivation in Pakistan.

The Chairman of the Pakistan Hitech Hybrid Seed Association (PHHSA), Shahzad Ali Malik, in a press briefing, highlighted the pivotal role of Chinese expertise in revolutionizing Pakistan's agriculture through hybrid seed technology.

This collaboration marks a significant stride towards self-sufficiency and the bolstering of Pakistan's export potential in key crops including cotton, wheat, edible oils, and pulses.

Malik pointed out that the adoption of hybrid rice technology from China has already showcased remarkable yield improvements, setting a precedent for its application across other agricultural sectors.

The initiative aims at reducing Pakistan's heavy reliance on imports by enhancing local production capabilities.

For cotton, a critical export commodity, hybrid technology promises higher yields and quality, positioning Pakistan to reduce imports and explore export opportunities.

Similarly, the introduction of hybrid wheat and oilseed varieties like soybean and sunflower is expected to boost productivity, quality, and domestic availability, potentially transforming Pakistan into a net exporter of these commodities.

Malik also touched upon the issue of pulse shortages, emphasizing that hybrid varieties could significantly enhance local production, thereby decreasing the need for imports and enabling Pakistan to meet its domestic demand more effectively.

This strategic move towards hybrid varieties, in collaboration with China, aims to ensure food security, achieve economic stability, and foster export growth, underlining the crucial role of advanced agricultural technologies in Pakistan's development, he maintained.(INP)

GWADAR - In the wake of China's unflinching commitment to help Pakistan mitigate detrimental impacts of natural disasters like catastrophic flood, torrential rain as well as metrological hazards, Gwadar Port has received equipment of early warning system on April 3.

After equipment's installation and functioning at Gwadar Port, next beneficiary areas are Jiwani and Turbat in Balochistan.

China Metrological Administration (CMA) has doled out the equipment to Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD). The equipment includes the establishment of one mobile vertical observation system, one Beidou Navigation sounding station and three automatic weather stations (AWS) including two backup Aws and large screen.

Talking to Gwadar Pro PMD official said that CMA-PMD collaboration is a part of boosting CPEC capacity for emergency management of major metrological disasters under the Belt and Road Initiative.

He revealed that CMA is also assisting PMD for enhancing its institutional capabilities to meet the emerging hydro-metrological challenges. "CMA will help PMD strengthen metrological observation network along the CPEC route in Pakistan," he added.

BEIJING - Recently, 5,000 sets of domestic photovoltaic power generation systems have been completed in cooperation with China and will be shipped to Pakistan soon. The project is one of China's Ministry of Environment's South-South cooperation projects to combat climate change. It is contracted and implemented by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) Lattice Technology Co., Ltd.

5,000 sets of home photovoltaic power generation systems include around 80,000 products across 9 categories. From program design to production inspection, Lattice Hi-Tech successfully completed the project in less than 30 days.

This aid will be deployed in Balochistan province where the temperature may exceed 50 degree Celsius in some parts. Lattice Hi-Tech thoroughly investigated the local climate environment and people's electricity habits to customize the design of the home photovoltaic power generation system.

The system mainly consists of monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules, lithium iron phosphate batteries, solar controllers, inverters, LED lamps, power boxes, photovoltaic brackets, etc. These components are used to convert solar energy into electricity to power home lighting and small household appliances.

In addition to Lattice high-tech production, they will also invite Pakistani technicians to China for technical and installation guidance training to enhance China-Pakistan technical exchanges and share Chinese experience. The successful implementation of this aid project will effectively reduce the pressure on local power supply, solve the problem of lighting in remote areas, and increase Pakistan's capacity to deal with climate change.
