It depends on enemy. Pakistan has enmity with India. There is no system in the world that can stop Brahmos. 4.5 mach speed Brahmos under testing. Hypersonic cruise missile is already tested. Very long range hypersonic cruise missile is set to test. No system in the world are good enough to stop them. Only MRSAM of India can stop Brahmos or to some extent S400.
you can't win a war with extremely expensive hypersonic missiles, you could hit a few strategic targets and that's it.

Russia used them on Ukraine's power structure and the damage usually gets repaired in a few hours and not worth the price of the missile to be sure.

I'm a proponent of conventional weapons. Look at Israel. They can hit anywhere in Iran, did they need any hypersonic weapons? no. They use cheap JDAMs on many targets.

sir. Just a reminder. India currently does not have hypersonic missiles. Like Tejas. The "Indian hypersonic missile is only in the experimental stage". currently, India's missiles are currently very cheap.

and. BrahMos is a missile that has been eliminated by Russia

I know, I'm being generous because Siper is very early in the production too. We're building the first batteries.

Let's consider that BrahMos works and does Mach 10. So what?

Where am I talking to hit every target with Hypersonic cruise missile? We have range of missiles for that. In case of Pakistan, our RAMJET powered Artillary and 300 K.M. Range Pinakas are more than sufficient. Where precession strike is required, we have Brahmos and Scalp and other missile to hit with precision strike. Our hypersonic long range missiles including HGV and Scemjet powered hypersonic missiles shall basically for Chinese Aircraft carrier and Ships in IOR and SCS region. They will be at the mercy of Indian navy in both the places.

So the same outcome what the world saw while we hit 11 air basis of Pakistan in less than half of an hour.
