look at sat maps, population density etc.. for China its all barren taklamakan

they do have much bigger fish to fry in the east and in the south Chyna sea.

just as we have a threat to our west

Arunachal and Ladakh remain bits of sticky points but both sides know its wiser to let the status quo persist there.

seems all quiet on both fronts for India atm

For India, for now, its all Pak and China...
