At least I'm aware that today 30% of Pakistani's are diabetic. The majority of which don't have access to proper medicare nor the funds nor the awareness to properly manage diabetes.I think cholesterol-induced heart problems are a more effective killer with Diabetes being a close second. All countries in the subcontinent are roughly in the same general range on that datapoint in 2025.
These above are estimates, confirmed world bank data are shown below for 2022.
- The number of years a newborn infant would live if current mortality trends at the time of its birth were to persist throughout its life is known as life expectancy at birth.
- In other words, it is the average number of years a newborn should expect to live if they were subjected to the sex- and age-specific mortality rates that were in effect at the time of their birth for a particular year in a particular nation, territory, or geographic location.
- The current life expectancy for Nepal is 71.74 years.
- The current life expectancy for India is 70.42 years.
- The current life expectancy for Pakistan is 67.79 years.
- The current life expectancy for Bangladesh is 73.57 years.
