What is wrong with these people, will we ever progress? There are some aspects of the law I agree with but not the others, Pakistan was created to be a secular state not a theocratic one.

What made me sad was seeing a Pakistani reddit forum trying to justify this and says it a good thing, some had logical views but they are supposed to be our educated class no? But I agree this mindset will dissappear, also Pakistanis need to stop defending Islam or such ideologies as if its a major part of our identity, we have much more to our country than a religion. Which most don't seem to know

There is nothing wrong with Nazi or fascist laws either. One group will try to enforce it while other group will resist. The winner will decide what happens. You will find plenty of Nazi/ Fascist supporters. Even many death cults have supporters too. They don’t have an army or government yet. That is the difference.

Don't mind them. These people don't have habit of following any law. People who don't even follow basic criminal law of the penal code 1868, they want sharia for some sinister purpose or simple ignorance. They might have degrees but we call them modern jahils.
