I have been trying to understand the logic of my Indian friends. Indian made fighter jets: engines from the United States (but with insufficient thrust and difficult supply). The radar comes from Israel, and the missiles come from Europe. Perhaps the landing gear and ejection seats also come from Europe. It may fly once a year. It may only fly for a dozen minutes at a time.
I don't even know what Indian-made tejas have to do with India. But Indian friends are laughing at the JF-17 and J-10.
The daily flight hours of J-10 may be the total annual flight hours of ALL Tejas.
I previously mentioned that J-10C flies directly from China to Egypt. My Indian friend said it's not a big deal. Rafale fighter jets can fly directly from France to India... I thought he said Tejas flew directly from India to France.
He even thinks that the Su-35 is the best plane in China???
Recently Chinese military commentator Xi Yazhou revealed that in last year's air force exercise, China’s domestic J-10C fighter could suppress imported Su-35 fighter. In respects of avionics fire control and ammunition performance, Su-35 jet’s passive phased array radar is completely suppressed...
