Fifty-six fishermen detained by the members of Myanmar Navy are released on Thursday.

Commanding officer of Teknaf-2 Battalion, Ashikur Rahman, said earlier on Wednesday, Myanmar Navy detained 56 Bangladeshi fishermen along with six trawlers from the Bay of Bengal at gun-point.

Later, they released the fishermen on Thursday morning but kept the trawlers and nets.

Per WION. it was sold at an undisclosed sum.
