Get a jet engine from the Russians with complete in house manufacture. Build swarms of local fighter jets.

Pick up the Su57 over the exorbitant Rafale.

Just completely stop fking around now for our defensive offense with anything the West makes.

Till we are actually a military power atmanirbhar in our own right, have Russia 100% with us.

We cannot survive a near peer war or a wider world war (not necessarily great war WWI or WWII scale. But definitely Eurasian) without the protection of one of the two superpowers.

The equation in Pakistan is clear. The military decides what it wants, and gets the budget (big or small) for it. Then it works around it. In India babus and gormint decides what military should get and from whom. And it changes every 5 years. So no supplier treats us seriously. We will forever have to live with this khichdi of thought process. The bamman wastes too much time in analysis paralysis, the baniya only wants ROI. Together it is a disaster of a procurement strategy.
