AH-1F Cobra Attack Helicopters in Pakistan Aeronautical Complex undergoing Elect Systems Overhaul.

It is worth noting that these helis had obsolete electronics with maintenance support closed by OEM.

PAC undertook the task & completely replaced all wiring & systems indigenously..

First Batch of JF-17C Block-III will be handed over to PAF shortly. As per sources, aircrew training is already in progress at PAC so that operationalization takes place in minimum time.
Note that JF-17C is a totally different experience due to advanced avionics & full FBW.

After the success of JF-17 Thunder program, PAC Kamra will have a massive project to work on.
As Pakistan will manufacture subsystems of KAAN along with Azerbaijan and Turkiye, this would be quite useful for extended mass production capabilities, better R&D and smooth maintenance. Availability of spare parts could easily be managed by joint efforts too.
This will overall bring down the unit cost of the aircraft aswell.

Around 200 Pakistani engineers and officials have already been working as a part of Turkish KAAN stealth aircraft project.
