And what is the end result of those thoughts? Their chosen representatives make PMLN the largest party in the National Assembly, and that makes the leader of PMLN the PM. Or a PMLN-PPP coalition is cobbled together. Is that what the people really want?

All MNAs in the 1985 non-party election under General Zia-ul-Haq were independents. Out of those independent MNAs, today's PMLN was born in 1985 and showered with khaki confetti. What an irony!
