The US State Department on Thursday imposed sanctions on a Chinese research institute and several companies it said have been involved in supplying Pakistan’s ballistic missile programme.

Washington similarly targeted three China-based companies with sanctions in October 2023 for supplying missile-applicable items to Pakistan.

Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement that the Beijing Research Institute of Automation for Machine Building Industry had worked with Pakistan to procure equipment for testing rocket motors for the Shaheen-3 and Ababeel systems and potentially for larger systems.

The sanctions also targeted China-based firms Hubei Huachangda Intelligent Equipment Co, Universal Enterprise, and Xi’an Longde Technology Development Co, alongside Pakistan-based Innovative Equipment and a Chinese national, for knowingly transferring equipment under missile technology restrictions, Miller said.

“As today’s actions demonstrate, the United States will continue to act against proliferation and associated procurement activities of concern, wherever they occur,” Miller said.

The embassies of China and Pakistan in Washington did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This guy needs to get real. The facts are these Chinese missiles we have are all untested and we have very few in numbers and only are strategic weapons for nuke delivery.

We can’t use these willy nilly with conventional warheads nor do these have the luxury of accuracy nor any evidence of having being used in anger by anyone.

India is in a similar situation now that we are all aware of the reality after witnessing hot wars in both Ukraine and the Middle East.

Russian weapons have really struggled against the west and so have Iranian weapons, although Irani weapons have a better record than Russian weapons.

Make your own conclusions bhai.

Middle powers like China and India stand exposed as clowns and turkey or Pakistan stand no chance if pitted against the west or Israel.

This is a horrible situation.

We need to get real here. Iran with all its proxies and hundreds of thousands of drones and missiles struggles to get 10% to 20% ( on the odd lucky day ) thru western defenses and they have a generation of experience in this area of expertise. 90% of Iranian munitions fail to penetrate the western defenses on average.

We are not even in the same ball park folks. Our armed forces don't stand a chance against the west. It’s been very frustrating and painful for most Pakistani's watching the situation in Ukraine and Middle East.
