Failed presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is not going to be joining President Donald Trump’s administration, marking the latest chapter in Vivek’s downfall in the eyes of many America Firsters. Ramaswamy exclusively confirmed to NATIONAL FILE that his pro-immigration rant against American culture led to his departure from President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is being run by Elon Musk.
When Vivek ran against Trump for president in the 2024 GOP primary cycle, the Brahmin pharma oligarch gained popularity as various conservative influencers astroturfed him and promoted his candidacy. But Ramaswamy exposed his pro-immigration agenda in a spiteful rant slamming American culture and complaining that Americans are not enough like various nerds from 1990’s TV shows including “Screech” from Saved By The Bell and “Urkel” from Family Matters.RelatedPosts

NATIONAL FILE asked Vivek Ramaswamy if his Saved By The Bell rant played a role in his departure from DOGE.
“Hi Patrick. Are you referencing the rant which I reference America prizing mediocrity over excellence?,” Vivek said in a grammatically incorrect reply.
I told Vivek that American kids are quite smart and he should give them a chance, because Americans don’t want to be replaced. Then I asked Vivek again if his Saved By The Bell rant played a role in his exit from DOGE.
“Obviously,” Vivek replied.
Vivek is planning to run for Governor of Ohio now, but he might have a tough time in the Republican primary now that the America First movement is well aware of his pro-Great Replacement immigration agenda.
Vivek’s downfall tweet came off extremely hostile and bitter.
Vivek infamously tweeted:
However, as Radical Subtard pointed out on X, popular kid Zack Morris on Saved By The Bell achieved a 1502 SAT score, while nerd “Screech” scored a 1220.“The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH: Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG. A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers. A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers. (Fact: I know multiple sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates). More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.” Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve. Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest. “Normalcy” doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China. This can be our Sputnik moment. We’ve awaken from slumber before & we can do it again. Trump’s election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America, but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness. That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence. I’m confident we can do it.“
As another classic TV character named Apu would say, “Thank you, come again!”
UPDATE:
Shortly after this story went live, Vivek took to X in a post on an account called AF Post in an attempt to deny reporting by National File.“Lie. Never spoke to these clowns,” Vivek tweeted.
This reporter cut a video in which I clearly showed the entire text message conversation between Vivek and myself, proving that Vivek is a liar.
That video is here for your review.
UPDATE: Thursday, January 23, 2025
After this reporter posted a video of the entire text conversation with Vivek Ramaswamy, Vivek commented yet again.“Dude I have no idea who you are, never got a text from you, and would never reply if I did,” Vivek replied.
The text exchange between myself and Vivek makes very clear that Vivek not only acknowledges my identity, but also that the person responding to the line of questioning about Vivek’s exit from DOGE was very familiar with the subject matter.
“Hi Patrick. Are you referencing the rant which I reference America prizing mediocrity over excellence?”
When Vivek’s attorney Steve Roberts of Holtzman Vogel called me last night after 9pm, his first words were “we don’t need all the saber rattling.”
Then he asked me which number Vivek answered when we called him.

UPDATE | Friday, January 24, 2025
Vivek’s attorney Steve Roberts emailed this reporter Thursday night asking to speak immediately. That email is here below.
National File publisher Noel Fritsch replied to attorney Roberts with the email here below.
Roberts later called Fritsch, after 9:00 PM on Thursday night. The phone conversation lasted approximately four minutes.
Roberts demanded that Fritsch disclose the number which Howley had texted Vivek on, and which Fritsch had spoken with Vivek on previously.
Fritsch refused to disclose that information to Vivek’s attorney Steve Roberts.
Roberts angrily and abruptly ended the call with Fritsch, threatening that the next time we heard from Vivek or Holtzman Vogel it would be legal correspondence.
