In all of my traveling around this place, broken Hindi me kaam chalta hai for the most part, English is also effective but not as ubiquitous.

Maybe in TN and a couple other places the locals would have an easier time communicating in angreji, this is no competition but overall Hindi wins, easy.

That is not sitting well with these non-Hindi speakers. Things are already bad.

This happened in East Pakistan fifty years ago - and its happening in India now.

BJP should tone down their Hindi campaign in my opinion, otherwise this will get real ugly real fast.

Yes, Bimaru states migration, Biharis and Oopee, MP walas etc going and gobbling up all the taxi, rickshaw etc jobs in Maharashtr, Krnkta etc.. so those locals have a problem with it.

Nobody is taking away their languages, just central gubment controlled areas.. and basic teaching in schools. Makes total sense.
