even during British times all major civilian control was either in Lahore or Karachi while industries were in faislabad/layalpur , Karachi and sialkot and around Multan but once industrious and buissness oriented Hindus and sikhs left in 1947 all of these small scale industries vanished that used to make uniforms and allied products for British army or house old products like utensils and spices and soaps meatl works they all went into deacy and vanished once there original masters were ethnically cleansed from western Punjab and Sindh thats why no wealth creation was there

Om Puri was what they call a method actor, full study kar ke character ki skin m ghus jaatein hain. Nautanki and drama trained stage guys, can't make mistakes with a live audience.. next level skill, man.
