Sarson ka tel is used in moderation to give some kick to bland dishes.

Like Tadka for Masoor Dal and other vegetable preparations etc.

Most Sarson ka tel exported overseas to US/EU is not approved for food consumption. Only topical (skin) usage.

Yaar magar you can't cook Nihari/ Pye/ Karrhai, Polao etc in it? Nor use it for tarrka on daalain.

Its got a very strong flavor.

The sample size for this survey is way too small.

17000 people for India and 2000/3000 people for Pakistan and Bangladesh. This will skew results badly.

Context is cooking in Bangladesh. Not so much may be in North India or Pakistan.

Karrwa tail for us is to cook sabzi with it.......buss!

Now even that is rare cuz of khatarnaak canola/ corn/ vegetable seed oils and some people consider seed oil as the most toxic thing so reverting to the use of ghee......

Avocado oil is getting very popular now for cooking in.

17000 people for India and 2000/3000 people for Pakistan and Bangladesh. This will skew results badly.

I guess they put the nations populations into context.

Randomly chose people off of streets from different parts of each country and administered this test.

Its a real eye opener no?

Look how poorly we performed...... .......just look at Pakistans ranking........

How clean countries are can be a marker for IQ I suppose. India and rest of the subcontinent is kinda dirty.. therefore low IQ, just like Africa.

Our low iq chewtias got no civic sense.
