Har cheez ki for getting US waivers in IMF LOAN WAIVERS to getting some specialised eapons or getting some special quota or permit for OIL exploration to defnce contracts and Pharma & Food Processing industry needs such lobbysts for getting Govt or iternational waivers and these Lobbysts Lobby your eamand with Senate and congress members who then Vote on it before the deal is rectifies just like India needed such lobbysts recently to get US congress Nod for transfer of technology for GE414 engines or other defnce contracs ...... as no US contractor can sell anything to a foreign country without the sanction letter from US Congress

Huge difference then between our near same people.

Indians (youth as well as Gen X'ers) are hugely reincorporating traditional foods and cooking practices back into their lifestyles.

Yes there was a 10-20 year microwave potty blip ...

But that's largely gone now. Obesity and diabetes and early cardiac disease is a problem here too. Seeing that we are essentially the same genetics.

Now, because of our backgrounds, we are fukking multi millionaires and some of us long retired overseas.

While our brightest make millions overseas, its not true for most of our folk back home......I agree with you there, that there is serious brain drain. In the long term this is bad for our region.

The other issue is that most of this expertise/ skills learned out west are not transferable in our economies because nobody values you when you go back home and tell them how shiit should be done properly and to not cut corners. They don't respect you cuz yous coludd just like them.

Our own societies fail us first bhai......
