India banned Coke back in the 1960's when Coke wouldn't divulge the formula - as requested by the Indian Govt.

That's when they came up with Thums Up etc. in India. Later - Pakistan developed Pakola as a carbonated drink.

Making Soda pop isn't exactly rocket science. Local brands hold more than 50% market share even in Bangladesh.

Akij is the largest food and beverage mfr. in Bangladesh which spreads product selection among a hundred different brands some of which are carbonated beverages. Huge huge company. They recycle all plastics.

Pran's Maxx cola also sells in India, they have a plant in WB
