Nice, man.

Ab to kaafi aur bhi developed ho gya hai since.. lotsa nice shiny unplanned xhit stuffed in there.

Easy pickings raat ko, all these drunk corporate type laundias looking for the 8=====D
Yeah that whole noida area was totally turbocharged way back in the day with lots of industry imaginable.

I stayed at the crown plaza there for months at a time. Lots of Aussie refinery team guys too.

Saw all of Delhi and Agra and Jaipur on different weekends.

Problem with India is the over population bhai vurna looking at it now the Indian economy is unstoppable.

Hamain 3 lakh dollar contract rate milta thaa annually the Indian engineers wouldn’t make that in their lifetimes.

However the technology and skills transfer was the most important thing for the Indians.

Many adventurous ones went to Australia and the US From the Noida office eventually and are doing well. Few moved back too after realizing how hard it is to settle in a western country when you go there as a professional late in your career.

Many still there in gurgaon and perfectly happy there.

To each his own bhai.

This is the crux.

Still.

What we pay the big bucks for.

That and more subtle racial and political reasons.
What Nehru did and followed up by Indra for India back in the 60's with the indigenization of the manufacturing, engineering and local construction/ contracting mobs was a masterstroke. Now yous got all the big engineering/ construction companies with local offices in India with local talent.

And at the end of the day bhai, why pay me 3/4 lakh dollar per year, when they can have 5 engineers in my place with different disciplines and 3 draftees thrown in as a bonus.

We all got lucky because in that period from 2002 all the way till 2016, China needed immense resources and Australia is like the minerals & metals capital of the world. Chinese demand for Alumina, Iron Ore, Zinc, Copper, Coal, Gold, Silver was insatiable. So many Aussie projects came up that it made multi millionaires out of a lot of Aussie engineers. I saved up man and retired early.

Indian offices of major engineering contractors like bechtel, Hatch. Worley Parsons, Fluor Daniel etc played a key role as subby's on many of these multi billion dollar projects of bhp billiton, Rio Tinto, Glencore/ Xstrata and you name it bhai.......

Nehru and Indra were busy courting these big names to open their offices in India throughout the 60's/ 70's/ 80's and 90's.......and in our country we were watching Rambo and Top Gun and inviting jihadi's from the GCC to give us money and eff-sola.......lol

Nateeja dekh lo aaj aap.

Lol.

Do you live in India? What culture are you talking about? The most dishonest and greedy people love in here

I think you want to say live in India. Yes, there are dishonest and highly honest people in India. I have made thousands of crores of payment to various parties and contractors as a finance guy in various positions. I have never taken even a single rupee bribe or a smallest undue advantage of any vendor iny whole carrier. However, there are my colleagues who are corrupt and always in search of getting some favour from parties either in cash or kind.

If that's true, then you have earned my respect.

Wrt me, always the seemingly genuine people who got close to me and have taken advantage of me.

Most Indians have aren't trustworthy. You can extrapolate that statement to South Asians. No point in denying in that.

I want Pralay to occur and most humans to be wiped out.

These days the clients I get, none of them exhibit honesty. Have to meet and deal with Haramis everyday. These things take a toll on your mental health.

ooh, niice.. NOIDA eh ? I thought Gurgaon or Guru gram now, in MOdi's vedic revivalist India)

both are NCR (nat. capital region)

Ggn is closer to south Dilli, lotsa people moved out of here and into there, east connectivity, good stuff

Noida/Greated NOIDA is a bit shady, crime wise, uski jurisdiction is UP police, more risk of bad shite going down there.

Both places got booming industries, factories, slave call centers, sab kuch..

I have friends who started off very small time, early 2000s when it began, raat bhar fake accent me US logon ko phone lagao.. "credit card le lo" "aapak bill baaki hai", etc 😛

was pretty easy money back in the day, shuruat mei.. crowd was also good

today some of em in charge of running a whole network of these across the country.

ab call centers have gone to *&*&*&*&, mostly tier 3 cities ke bumpkin types, can't speak the english only, still the hiring is happening for them ! 🤣

Na ji, gotta correct you there

we had a commie inspired desi "socialist" system, closely allied to the Soviets all through the cold war, up till 91 or whenever they collapsed and the Berlin wall fell.

Waaay back, in the 80s, we'd watch VCR casettes pe Pakistani dramas.. and we'd see ki wah bhai ! .. Paxtanis driving Toytas etc, neat and clean rich place hai..

cricket also, we used to lose badly most times lol

F 16 fighter zet, goray chittay mard e momins flying those.. hum gangu toh durr durr ke rehte the, the common folk.. As always, I dramatize a bit, but... there was this undeniable aura about Pakistan, basically. /subjective

aab paasa palat gya hai

aap fuss ho gaye after 9/11 and WoT.. KSM, OBL etc didn't exactly help your cause either 😛
