Ye bohot katarnaak khana hae.......That tarri floating on top is all animal fat.

You gotta skim that floating fat bhai, vurna this is heart attack/ stroke iss-pay-shall.

Can eat this skimmed maybe once or twice in a year......buss.....

Pehla massive heart attack 55 per hota hae (people who eat this type of food daily) and usually it cripples the guy for life. Death is actually better.

You are not a real Karachi Parsi, if you don't eat Aleti Paleti......Hur Karachi Parsi k ghar main ye dish banti thee weekly! Irani boys would bring sandwiches of this almost Pate' salan for lunch at school.

Actually, you are not even Irani if you don't eat Jiger:

I cook this once a month without those potatoes and do it the Karachi style with a glug of thick beaten yogurt added and finished off with a sprinkle of dried Methi leaves 5 minutes before done.

This dish is so good, that you can't stop eating with hot fluffy tandoori naans.

mutton/chicken both.. I only ever had the chicken version but

my standard order is 2 plate rista, 1 plate gushtaba, and those long ass mutton seekhs, with elaichi and other uncommon spices, go great with these gravies too.

Ahad Sons, Dilli legends !
Hitting this place when I am in Delhi next!

And Mother Dairy too - as I'm curious, and as its nearby. They have the largest milk and Soybean processing operation for India in that company.

Interesting fact - Bangladesh (even being one-eighth the size of India) has installed Soybean processing capacity near that of India. For India it is 25,000 tonnes per day compared to 17,500 tonnes per day for Bangladesh. And they are installing more capacity, most of it modern/computerized.

As of 2025, the average per capita consumption of oils and fats in Bangladesh is approximately 19 kg, while in India, it is around 11 kg. This indicates that Bangladesh has a higher per capita consumption due to more oil in their foods. Pakistan is even higher I am sure. Heart attacks galore!!

It also means Bangladeshi arteries will be clogged much sooner with cholesterol and they will run to China for treatment.
