NATIONAL AEROSPACE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK

National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) will provide eco-system of essential elements required to nurture design, research, development and innovation in the aviation, space, IT and cyber domains.

NASTP is a pioneer organisation in Pakistan that is approved by the Government of Pakistan as ‘a project of strategic national importance’ led by the Pakistan Air Force in creating opportunities for joint work between industry, academia and the government, turning it into a technology ecosystem in the country. This project has been envisaged to have comprehensive Design, Development & Innovation Eco-System.

REGIONAL CENTER AND HQS FOR PUNJAB PROVINCE

NASTP Alpha is located in Rawalpindi and is the regional HQs for the Federal region of Pakistan, measuring 16 Acres of land and comprising 11 buildings having 330,000 Sq Ft built-up area and more than 125,000 Sq Ft rentable spaces.

NASTP Alpha is home to the largest set of organic design and R&D setups of the Pakistan Air Force in Aircraft, Space, Radar, Wireless and Communications Systems, Simulators, Cyber, IT, Computing & Big Data, Software Development, Artificial Intelligence domains. Alpha is poised to become very attractive techno park for Aerospace, Cyber, IT, Computing, Fintech and Training companies, owning to its proximity with some of the largest public and private industrial setups including Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, GoP offices, HEC, NAVTTC, ministries and top ranked universities like NUST, Air University, IST, PIEAS, FAST, GIKI and COMSATS in the twin cities and adjoining areas like Wah Cantt, Kamra and Swabi. Alpha is also home to the first ever vertical incubator in the Aerospace domain called NICAT (NIC for Aerospace Technologies) and Siber Koza – first ever international Cyber and IT Incubation Center as joint venture between NASTP and Turkish company called CryptTech.

Alpha is also home to the NASTP PSDP, Training, Certification and Aviation Services Divisions. NASTP Institute of Emerging Systems and Technologies (NIEST) is the premier institute, comprising several signature training centers and schools such as SETS (School of Emerging Technologies and Systems). NASTP Alpha is also home to the National Center for Cyber Security of Air University. NASTP Aviation Academy is another flagship project of NASTP and well poised to become the world class training institute and regional hub for flight, safety and maintenance training.

SPECIAL TECHNOLOGY ZONE (STZ)​

Team NASTP is very pleased to announce approval of its first chapter NASTP Alpha Rawalpindi as Special Technology Zone (STZ) by the STZ Authority of Pakistan. We express deepest gratitude to the STZA Team led by the Chairman STZ that worked day in and day out to evaluate our application, very rigorously prepared for the purpose. We also look forward to working with the STZA and other national and international partners to make NASTP Alpha STZ a true success story for our partners and the great people of Pakistan, especially our most brilliant youth. REGIONAL CENTER AND HQS FOR PUNJAB PROVINCE

NASTP Delta is the regional center and HQs for Punjab province. NASTP Delta is poised to become very attractive techno park for Cyber, IT, Computing, Fintech and Training companies, owning to its proximity with some of the largest software houses of Lahore as well as PITB, situated in the Arfa Karim tower. NASTP Delta will also link up with some of the best universities of Lahore including but not limited to LUMS (home to the National Center for Big Data and Cloud Computing and NIC Lahore), University of the Punjab, The University of Lahore, UET Lahore etc.
NASTP IT Institute, as an affiliate colleg
e of the Air University, will focus on providing most relevant short duration courses and certifications to convert fresh graduates with associate and higher degrees to become industry ready HR.

NASTP has also partnered with PSEB, MoIT and P@SHA to arrange most reputed and qualified instructors with rich industry experience and train the national youth. NASTP Delta will be given status of STP by PSEB to enjoy several key benefits from the GoP, besides acting as platform with great networking opportunities. Overall, NASTP ITI will become part of several institutes and training centers being established by NASTP Training Division in all chapters of NASTP across Pakistan.

IT PARK

IT Park is a shared facility to bring together academic institution, high-tech companies, entrepreneurs and startups for knowledge sharing and innovation. The park offers an all-encompassing ecosystem where professionals can exchange ideas, collaborate on projects and adopt innovations. NASTP Delta partners with MoITT & PSEB and visualizes being in the STZA, shortly.

NASTP INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (NIIT)

NASTP Delta houses NIIT; which aims at providing relevant certifications to act as incubator and linkup youth with the corporate world. NIIT is not only affiliated with the Air University but several other institutes established by NASTP chapters across Pakistan. The certifications NIIT would offer is of great value to transform our startups into desirable HR. NIIT as a premier educational institute would offer comprehensive programs in different domains of IT. It targets nurturing the next generation through interactions and guidance from established companies housed in the techno-park. Experienced instructors and industry experts would be imparting necessary knowledge / skills to excel in IT industry. FLAGSHIP AEROSPACE CLUSTER OF PAKISTAN

NASTP Kamra is the national and international HQs to provide an all-encompassing eco-system of design, R&D, manufacturing, PLM, incubation, training, MRO, Aviation Logistics, Air Shows and Expos along global supply chains of strategic industries like Aerospace, IT & Computing. NASTP Alpha comprises six elements including Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, PAF Base Minhas, Aviation and Aerospace Campus of Air University, Industrial Zone and NASTP R&D Zone along with Amenities Enclave for lifecycle support.

NASTP Kamra is well poised to become very attractive aerospace cluster in the region, paving way for major FDI from the Middle East, Far East, Central Asian and Asia Pacific Regions. NASTP Kamra will be very attractive for the EU Nations as well, given long term GSP+ Status of Pakistan by the European Commission.

CONNECTING ALL OF THE REGIONAL NASTPS

NASTP Kamra will connect all of the regional NASTPs that would in-return be platforms for connecting city and university level STPs to create regional level eco-systems to be ultimately connected at the national level with NASTP Kamra. NASTP Kamra will also be home to NASTP Academy, which will be premier institute to prepare industry ready HR by providing certified trainings in all domains and advanced / disruptive technologies and act as mothership for all of the regional NISTs, their affiliated colleges and partner institutes. NASTP Academy will award certificates recognized by NAVTTC, Air University as well as international bodies such as EU and EASA. NASTP has also partnered with PSEB, MoIT and P@SHA to arrange most reputed and qualified instructors with rich industry experience and knack to en masse mentor and train the national youth.

NASTP Kamra will be given status of STZ and STP by the relevant authorities of GoP to enjoy several key benefits including subsidies, tax / customs duty exemptions etc besides acting as platform with great networking opportunities.

NASTP Silicon 1 is home to the major design and R&D setups of the Pakistan Air Force in Simulator, AR, VR, Robotics, Space, Wireless and Communication Systems, Cyber, IT, Computing & Big Data, Software Development, Artificial Intelligence domains.
