Indians, along with east Asians.. generally get a good wrap, have a good rep in the US. The screening process for even tourist visas is pretty rigorous. Indian immigrants are a high income group generally too. Doctors, or hard working 7/11 Apu types.. a lot of software coolies and some software gurus and bosses.. the whole gamut, decent bunch.

US gets the best Indians too, UK/Canada.. that lot can be kinda sketchy.

Low key, docile, hardworking, law fearing, save a lot, big on education and assimilation.

They invest in the native economy. Buy longterm immovable assets like homes. Signifying that they are there for the long haul.

They do not run gangs.

They do not fill prisons.

They do not start race riots.

They do not groom underage white girls.

They do not plant bombs in cars parked in shopping malls.

They do not crack the skulls of LEA Officers in airports.
